The course includes real-world urban planning and spatial analysis projects where you'll choose your own topic and work through a detailed methodology and analysis. The project form is available only to students in the Advanced and Premium tiers. Advanced tier students will receive feedback on whether their project is approved or not, along with explanations of why. Premium tier students will also get a 30-minute one-on-one session for personalized feedback. Upon approval of your project, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.
Absolutely. With the Self-Study plan, you get access for three months after the course ends. If you opt for the Advanced or Premium plan, you’ll have six months to revisit the content and refine your skills.

This course uses QGIS, a free and open-source software. You’ll be guided through the installation process, and we’ll provide support to make sure you have everything set up before the course starts.
We’ll provide you with a variety of real-world urban data, including shapefiles, CSVs, and geojsons. You’ll also learn how to source your own data from open platforms like OpenStreetMap, government databases and more.
While basic math is helpful, you don’t need to be a coding expert to succeed in this course. We’ll focus on tools within QGIS that allow you to analyze data without programming. For those interested in more technical workflows, we offer additional resources in the Premium tier.
